Alvin Gentry will coach New Orleans Pelican

Alvin Gentry became coach of the New Orleans Pelicans basketball. He replaced Monty Williams, who introduced the team to this year's playoffs. The new coach will be to build a young team around the star - 22-year-old Anthony Davis.
Terms of the contract, or the length of the contract were not disclosed. In 2014 60-year-old is currently assistant Steve Gentry Kerr in the Golden State Warriors. The team will begin June 4 fight in the grand finale of the NBA Cleveland Cavaliers. Trainer join the "Pelicans" at the end of the season.

Gentry previously served as head coach of the Miami Heat, the Detriot Pistons, Los Angeles Clippers and Phoenix Suns. His balance is 335 wins and 370 defeats.
